From the Richmond Dispatch, 11/2/1860, p. 1, c. 7Seamen’s Bethel. – This building is progressing towards completion. The bell tower has been constructed, and will be ready or the bell as soon as any of our public spirited citizens are ready to present. Rev. Mr. Boggs, the Chaplain, continues to hold regular services in the Friends’ Meeting House.
