Parade of Cavalry. – The 1st regiment of
North Carolina, Col. Ransom, previous to their departure for the Potomac
yesterday, paraded through the streets, and passed through Capitol Square. A
finer body of horsemen was never seen in Richmond. They will render the Southern
cause good service.
