Collections for the Relief of Sick and Wounded Soldiers. - We append below another acknowledgement of money for the relief of the sick and wounded soldiers of the Confederate States through the chairman of the committee, Isaac W. Walker, Esq. It will be seen by an inspection of the list, that the ladies are, as usual, conspicuous in their attention to the sick and wounded. We direct special attention to the noble contributions of the boys and girls of the Lancastrian School, of this city, and the employees of the Confederate States Laboratory, at this place. Such acts of patriotism need no comment. The communication of the chairman of the Committee on Collections reads as follows:

Messrs. Editors: - Please acknowledge thro your paper the following subscriptions for the sick and wounded:

Sundry boxes from citizens of Amelia, thro Rev. T. A. Crenshaw, containing clothes, &c.

One coop, containing fifty chickens, from Miss Elvira D. Bouldin, daughter of Hon. Wood Bouldin, of Charlotte.

Lot of chickens, butter and eggs from Mrs. Charles Morris, of Hanover, through Messrs. W. & G. Gwathmey.

Also, received daily, vegetables, butter, milk, &c., from Col. Shelton, Mrs. Gaines, Miss Marian Carter, and others, of Hanover, and from Mr. Henry Cox, Mrs. Chapin, Mr. Robert Aiken, Mr. Renny, and numerous others, of Henrico.
