From the Richmond Dispatch, 9/27/1861, p. 2

A CARD. - The patrons of my SCHOOL need not be at all apprehensive from the fact that a few sick soldiers have been nursed by the ladies, for a short time, in my rooms. They are kept with most scrupulous neatness, have been vacated since Monday, and are now thoroughly cleansed, whitewashed, and purified. The exercises will be resumed on MONDAY, 30th, under my exclusive care.

ROGER MARTIN
