Sent to
Richmond
. – About twenty-one prisoners, (mostly sailors) recently taken from Abolition
ships captured off the coast of North Carolina, by the “rebel” privateer
Lady Davis, (well remembered in this city as the James Gray,) have been sent to
this city for safekeeping or transportation within the territories of the enemy,
as circumstances might seem to justify.
