Short Life. – D. W. Rogers, member of Co. G. 1st Va. regiment, now in confinement at Castle Thunder, is to be shot next Saturday for desertion, at Camp Lee, unless the President in the meanwhile shall extend Executive clemency. Rogers was respited for two weeks from the 4th of October.
