Whipped. – In pursuance of the sentence passed by the Court-Martial on James Meaghan, 2d Battalion Mississippi Volunteers, that individual was struck fifty lashes, on Saturday, in the yard of Castle Thunder. Several colored men underwent the same sort of infliction, for divers offences, at the same place and time.
