From the Richmond Dispatch, 10/3/1862, p. 2, c. 6

NOTICE. – There was a BOX and TRUNK put in my wagon on the 25th of August last, from Battery No. 4, to be taken to the Danville Depot. Being late in the evening, the agent refused to receive them, and the driver, waiting until late in the night for the owner to arrive, he brought them home, and they are now in my possession. The owner will please come forward, prove property, pay charges, and take them away.

MARY POWELL.
