From the Richmond Dispatch, 11/17/1862, p. 1, c. 5Shooting Affair. – Richard Barry was captured Saturday night and lodged in Castle Thunder, charged with shooting and dangerously wounding Samuel Crump, a soldier. The affair took place on Cary, between 17th and 18th streets, near the place known as Dublin.
