From the Richmond Dispatch, 11/1/1862, p. 2, c. 3

Charged with Forgery. – Lieutenant Samuel H. Wyvill, formerly of the C. S. Army, who has been imprisoned for sometime past in Castle Thunder, awaiting examination on sundry charges of forging army papers, drawing money, and defrauding the Government out of a large sum, was yesterday carried before Commissioner W. F. Watson, who, after hearing the testimony, sent the accused to the city jail, to await his trial before the District Court.
