From the Richmond Dispatch, 12/24/1862, p. 1, c. 4Returned to his Post. – The commandant of the Eastern District military prison, Capt. G. W. Alexander, who has been absent on duty in the field near Fredericksburg for the past ten days, has returned to his post, leaving his company of picked prisoners variously distributed among their old regiments.
