Escape of Prisoners. - Three prisoners, incarcerated by order of the Government, effected their escape from the jail of Henrico county on Wednesday night last, by working a hole through the wall of their cell, and letting themselves down to the yard, whence it was a comparatively easy matter to get into the street. One of them is George W. Twells, formerly a lieutenant in the Ben McCulloch Rangers, arrested on suspicion of disloyalty to the South; another is O. C. Stanton, a native of a Northern State; and the other 3d Sergeant Lawson, lately in the Confederate service on the Peninsula. Up to the present time they have eluded arrest, and are probably endeavoring to make their way to the enemy’s lines.
