From the Richmond Dispatch, 4/7/1862, p. 2, c. 3Died from His Injuries. – The man, Hiram Hurshur, who leaped from a third-story window of the Confederate States military prison, on Cary street, a week or two since, died in the hospital at that place on the 30th of March. It will be remembered that he broke the bones of his skull in making the leap. Every attention was shown him by Dr. Higginbotham, Surgeon in charge of the Hospital, but considering the nature of his wounds his death under the circumstances cannot be considered very remarkable.
