From the Richmond Dispatch, 5/5/1862, p. 2, c. 3Our Reporter stated a few days since, upon what, we suppose, he considered authority, that in one or two instances the bodies of persons (soldiers) not dead had been sent to one of the cemeteries for burial. A flat and positive denial of such occurrence, or occurrences, was left with us the next day for publication which communication was mislaid. We now state upon the most reliable authority, and officially, that there was no truth in the original statement.
