From the Richmond Dispatch, 6/11/1862, p. 3, c. 2…We understand it is the intention of the Medical and Surgical departments of the army to provide additional accommodations for the infirm, and have, with this view, secured a large warehouse on 6th street, between Cary Street and the Canal. As far as we may judge, the heads of departments have dispensed ample supplies to the hospitals, and from the neatness, cleanliness, and good order observed and maintained in Post No. 2 of Camp Winder Hospital, (and, doubtless, in all the posts) we must confess our contentedness with the provisions made, since, for so large and temporary an institution, we could not expect so much to gratify us.
