From the Richmond Dispatch, 6/17/1862, p. 2, c. 3In Limbo. – Jim Cook, the celebrated toddy-mixer, (in the days of mint juleps,) was put in Castle Godwin yesterday, on suspicion of dispensing the ardent contrary to the provisions of the proclamation declaring martial law in Richmond. Jim solemnly asserverated his entire innocence of the charge.
