REV. T. EDWARD MARTIN, of the M. E. Church, who has been laboring an efficiently among the soldiers at Chimborazo Hospital, has been elected Captain to the 1^st Virginia regiment, Lieut. Colonel Skinner, commanding. We congratulate the 1^st on being so fortunate in securing the services of so zealous and pious a minister.
