From the Richmond Dispatch, 6/24/1862, p. 2, c. 2WOUNDED SOLDIERS. – A number of misses, desirous of aiding in the relief of the sick and wounded soldiers, will hold a FAIR at “PRATT’S CASTLE,” Gamble’s Hill, the residence of Mr. James D. Browne, on FRIDAY AFTERNOON next, commencing at 4 o’clock, when they hope and expect to receive the patronage of all who sympathize with the sick and wounded soldiers. A band of music will be in attendance, and the State Guard will drill in front of the Castle. je 24 – 3t*
