From the Richmond Dispatch, 6/27/1862, p. 1, c. 7The Old United States Hotel has been denuded of its occupants, and is now undergoing the process of purification prior to being put to use as a hospital for the Confederate soldiers who may be wounded in the pending actions before this city. The rooms in this hotel are large and well ventilated. It is capable of accommodating a large number of patients.
