Criminal Matters. - Daniel Murphy, a boy, was arrested Saturday, by the Provost Guard, for shooting in the face, and dangerously wounding, a man named Murphy, who had called him a bastard. A negro nurse at the Hospital on 10th, between Marshall and Clay streets, (formerly the Baptist Female Institute,) was imprisoned on the same day for taking $85, which a gentleman had dropped in the hospital yard. The owner got the money and Bob went to prison.
