From the Richmond Dispatch, 8/28/1862, p. 1, c. 5Released from Prison. – B. Wardwell, well known as an ice dealer in this city, who was arrested for supposed disloyalty several months ago and sent to Salisbury, N. C., was returned to Castle Thunder on Tuesday, and released upon taking the oath of allegiance.
