PROVOST MARSHAL’S OFFICE,
August 1^st, 1862.

WANTED, DRIVERS. – To avoid indiscriminate impressments, the Government will pay $20 per month for hands to act as DRIVERS.

It is to be hoped that this advertisement will secure an adequate number without further impressments.
