The
Wounded Soldiers. – Surgeon F.
W. Hancock has been charged with the duty of receiving and distributing to the
different Hospitals in the city all the wounded and sick soldiers who may be
sent to Richmond from the Army of Gen. Lee. His office is on the south side of
Broad street, between 7th and 8th sts., where persons
desirous of giving the wounded men syrups[?] and other refreshments, on their
arrival, will be directed how to proceed.
