From the Richmond Enquirer, 11/11/1862, p. 2, c. 2

THE “WASHINGTON,” a large locomotive engine, left by the Yankees at Fredericksburg, at the time of the general evacuation of that place some months ago, has been brought to this city, and is now at the Central depot. The tender of the “machine” is interestingly inscribed with epigrammatic scintillations of Yankee wit, in which the “rebels” are made to suffer mournfully.
