PARDONED. – Through the medium of Executive clemency, James
Ross, a convict, was released from the Penitentiary on yesterday. Ross was
convicted in Augusta county, for placing obstructions on the Central Railroad,
and was sentenced for three years imprisonment, two of which he had served out.
