ATTEMPTED ESCAPE. – John O’Brien, a delinquent soldier, incarcerated in the Confederate Guard house, on Franklin street, leaped from one of the windows of his prison, on yesterday, and succeeded in breaking one of his ankles by the manoeuvre. – He was appropriately taken care of.
