BEFORE RECORDER CASKIE. – The most important case before Recorder Caskie, on Saturday, was introduced by the authorities of the Provost Marshal, consisting of a charge against James Campbell and Ann Eliza Clark, for stealing from Winder Hospital, forty pieces of bacon, a small sack of salt, a lot of soap and a quantity of pickles, valued in all at $400. The evidence was clear enough to cause the case to be sent on for trial before the Hustings Court.
