From the Richmond Examiner, 4/18/1863

STRAY PRISON BIRDS RECAPTURED. J. Wrenn, of Battery No. 2, and M. J. Lemmon, of the Manchester Artillery, who escaped from Castle Thunder on Monday, by digging through the rear wall, were recaptured yesterday, some distance out on the Central railroad, in the act of attempting to get aboard the outward bound train, with the object of fleeing the city without a passport. They were brought to the city, and lodged in the Castle again.
