Sir:

You are directed to forward to this Office without delay the names of Eight (8) Acting Assist Surgeons on duty in the Hospital under your charge. You will select the names of those, who, in your judgment are the least efficient, and from the different divisions, as follows

1^st Division       1
2^nd Division       3
3^rd Division       3
5^th Division       1

You will also report for duty in the field the names of two Assist Surgeons from the 1^st Division, and two Assist Surgeons from the 4^th.
