Medical Director’s Office, June 15 ‘64

Sir:

In this morning’s reports of Howard’s Grove Hospital, I find “Surgeon Wilkins absent without leave.” A similar report was received a few days since. At the same Hos. a Surgeon and 2 Assist. Surgeons are reported off duty from sickness, and Surgeon Palmer reports that attending on his own duties and those of other officers absent has overtaken his strength.
