MEDICAL PURVEYOR’S OFFICE,
Richmond, Va., Nov 20, 1863.
SEALED proposals will be received
at this office until the tenth (10th) day of December, 1863, for
filling, during the ensuing winter, the two Government Ice Houses located in and
near this city, as follows:
Ice house corner Cary and 22d
streets, capacity 58,000 bushels.
Ice house at Jackson Hospital,
capacity 10,000 bushels.
Each bid must be accompanied by
two or more securities for the faithful performance of the contract, stating the
address of the sureties, and giving reference as to their responsibility.
