Judge Halyburton’s Court. – The Court, having fully
considered the petition and evidence in the case of Daniel S. Jones, who alleged
that he was illegally detained in custody by Capt. G. W. Alexander, commandant
of Castle Thunder, he being in no way connected with either the military or
naval forces of the Confederacy, by reason of his age, being over 40, ordered
that the said Daniel S. Jones be discharged.
