Large Arrival of Yankee Prisoners. – The Danville cars on Saturday morning brought down 641 Yankee prisoners, and yesterday morning 713 more captured by General Van Dorn, at Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, on the 5^th of March. Among the number are 4 Colonels, 2 Lieutenant Colonels, 3 Majors, 21 Captains, 24 First Lieutenants, and 19 Second Lieutenants – a total of 73 commissioned officers. The prisoners are chiefly western men, the States of Illinois, Michigan and Indiana having the largest number of representatives.

The following prisoners were received on Saturday from Hunter’s Station, Va., where they were captured on the 17^th inst.: Capt. R. Schofield, 1^st Vermont Cavalry; First Lieutenant Wm. Wells, do.: Second Lieutenant P. T. C. Chesney, do. A Yankee soldier, captured at Kelly’s Ford, was also brought in Saturday. The number of Federal officers at present in the Libby Prison is 180.
