From the Richmond Whig, 7/31/1861
NOT SATISFIED. - Some of the wounded Yankee officers sent
to the General Hospital are not satisfied with the quarters. They complain of
being put in the same ward with the privates, and seem to believe that they are
entitled to some consideration. If the language used by one of these impudent
fellows has been correctly reported to us, he deserves an application of raw
hide to his back, or some other punishment, which will make him discontinue his
impertinence.
