From the Richmond Whig, 8/3/1861
IN CAMP. - The Life Guard, Capt. G. A. Wallace, is now
quartered at the Fair Grounds, and the Commander desires it to obtain a few
recruits before receiving marching orders. Capt. Bayly’s company, which
participated in the brief and luckless Rich Mountain campaign, has also
returned, and is encamped at the same place.
