SHOOTING AFFAIR. - A man named John Green was before the Mayor, yesterday, charged with shooting another, named Wm. Jinkins. The examination was postponed until tomorrow. We did not learn any of the circumstances of the affair. The parties are both soldiers. Jinkins’ left thigh was broken by the shot, and he was conveyed to the Louisiana Hospital, where he now lies under treatment, with no prospect of getting out under four weeks.
