MORTUARY STATISTICS. - The following is a comparison of the interments at the Shockoe Hill Cemetery and adjacent burial ground, during the quarter ending 31st ult., and same time of the three preceding years:

The increase during the past twelve months may be explained in part, by the mortality among volunteers and other strangers. It must also be remembered that the population of the city is rapidly increasing. We have no report from Hollywood Cemetery, and have never seen one.
