SPECIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. – As Surgeon in charge of the
temporary Hospitals Richardson’s and Dooley’s, and now of the U. S. Hotel
Hospital, Main street, corner of 19th, I desire to return thanks for
many donations for the use of the wounded, the principal of which being $100
from a gentleman through Rev. Moses D. Hoge; two acceptable and valuable boxes
from Mossingford Soldiers Aid Society, and numerous articles from the Army
Committee of the Young Men’s Christian Association through their Almoner, Col.
Munford.
