From the Richmond Whig, 3/14/1864, p. 1, c. 3Mr. CASHMEYER. - The announcement that this person had been released from Castle Thunder was premature. We learn that he is still in quod, and is to be brought before a court martial to-day. It is said the prisoner by whom he attempted to send the papers and letter North was a man who lived very near his wife in Baltimore, and that besides the documents he had entrusted him with some money to deliver to Mrs. Cashmeyer.
