Mayor’s Court. – The docket yesterday was brief and speedily disposed of. Not a “drunk”
was on the morning benches, which we record as an encouraging fact. George,
slave of Wm. Greanor, and John, slave of John Minor Botts, were acquitted of a
charge of stealing $25 from a sick soldier. [remainder of cases not transcribed]
