AT A MEETING OF THIS COMPANY, held this evening, the
following resolutions were unanimously adopted:
Resolved, That we
most respectfully return our sincere thanks to Mrs. P. S. Derbyshire for the
beautiful flag which she presented to this Company on the morning of the 4th
inst.
Resolved, that we
return our thanks to Messrs. J. R. Anderson & Co. for their very liberal aid
in uniforming this Company.
Resolved, That we
return our sincere thanks to Mr. John Messler for the free use of one of his new
boats, and for his services in piloting us up the Canal on the morning of the 4th
inst.
