From the Richmond
Dispatch,

Caution Necessary.
- A correspondent says “Some two weeks ago I visited Thomas’ factory, where
they were making cartridges, (some two or three hundred men, women and minors,)
with powder sprinkled all over the floors, and the workmen passing in and out
with nails in their shoes. Don’t be astonished to hear of that part of the
town blowed to the devil - see about it.”
