Superintendent Appointed. – Mr. John McFarland, the former Machinist on the Richmond and Danville Railroad, but more recently engaged in repairing Government engines, has been appointed Superintendent of the Richmond and York River Railroad. Mr. McFarland has had a long practical experience in railroading, and will no doubt make a most excellent manager.
