From the Richmond Dispatch, 5/2/1863Mayor’s Court, Friday, May 1st - …Mary Duke was brought up, charged with being in the riot of the 2nd of April, on Main and Cary streets. The Mayor required her to give surety for her appearance before Judge Meredith, to be tried for misdemeanor, and she did it.
