Wayside Home for Furloughed Soldiers Passing Through the
City. – The efficient and courteous officers in charge of the Seabrook
Hospital, corner of Grace and Seventeenth streets, have made provision for the
accommodation of soldiers on furlough, who may be detained in this city over
night, waiting for the trains. A clean and comfortable bed, supper, and
breakfast are furnished the weary soldier without cost.
Soldiers stopping at the hospital will not only save their
money, but have as good lodging and fare as they would get at many of the
hotels.
