PRISONERS OF WAR – The Central train last evening brought
down 110 Abolition prisoners, who were captured in a skirmish on Sunday week, at
Snicker’s Gap, by a portion of Stuart’s cavalry, under Captain Wright. The only
commissioned officer among them was paroled at Staunton. There are a number of
sutlers in the party.
